At some point you will not find more than 50 backpackers on the island and it is a large island.
The locals are friendly I have ever encountered and the beach which I think is the best in the world.

Picture a cross between the islands around Krabi, Thailand and mix it with Ha Long bay,Vietnam, and it makes the shoreline town of El Nido. There are some of the best divingand snorkeling to be done in many coral reef off the coast of many white sand or swim in the lagoon with small sharks or relax and soak up the sun. The island also has one of thelongest underground river in the world.
